Don't get me wrong, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE musicals... so basically I'm in heaven at the moment... and wondering what good thing i've done in the world to produce such wondorous Jenniness! Honestly, can life get any better than this??? Really? I think not!

Well, okay it can! If they keep producing musicals and America keeps heading to the big screen to see them! Here are just a few of the great muscials from the past few years!

I would so die!!!! Eeeh! I have warned you I'm a dork, right??? Yep, i am! And PROUD of it! Go America! SING YOUR HEARTS out! And may 2009 bring even more singing opportunities!

  10. You're kidding me right? That was my favorite musical when I was a kid. And I'm not just saying that. It really was. I probably watched it upwards of 30 times (that and The Sound of Music). Man, I haven't seen it in forever though. I should buy that one for my kids (but really for me).

  12. Kasie--Oh yeah, after watching Newsies in the theater my parents bought it for me for VHS while I was a teen... then my hubby replaced the VHS once and then got me a DVD a few years back... I SOOO LOVE newsies! The most underrated musical of ALL time! There's two reasons for that (Other than a bunch of totally hunky guys) it's score was written by Alan Menken (nuff said) and it was choreographed by Kenny Ortega!!!! I nearly freaked when i saw his style being used in HSM!!! Then to actually see it was him was like a dream come true.. A man after my own heart! I'm just grateful he's finally getting the credit he deserves!!!

  18. I just wanted to say "hi" I've been stalking your blog recently since we seem to blog in the same circles. :) I think that it would be really neat if one of your books were turned into a musical, kind of like The Bride and Prejudice. I am huge Lover of Jane Austen books and movies. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when BBC remade all the movies for Masterpiece Theater last year. I don't think you've lived until you've read Pride and Prejudice for the twelth time while simultaneously watching the fifth remake of the movie. LOL!

  19. Morgan--YES! Check it out! You'll love Bride and Prejudice! Nothing is more fun than the Grease songs! I've gotta say there's just a spark to them that's so addicting!

Kimberly--LOL! Are you STILL surprised we have so much in common? And Thanks so much! Love you!

Candice--Eeeh! You're a Jane buff too? I so LOVE her! I know exactly what you mean about rereading as you're watching yet another remake. *sigh* you can NEVER get enough remakes in my opinion! oh and Welcome!
