Guess What! Guess What!

You'll never guess what i did last night!!! Okay, so maybe the picture gave me away... but i'm so excited I'm just gonna burst! My hubby bought me tickets to Wicked for Easter... and last night we rode the tube into London and had a blast!

I LOVED it!

So can I just say how awesome my hubby is? Can I? Can I? Little did I know when I married the guy that he loved musicals too! You should've seen my shock as I went through a small part of his CD collection on our way to our honeymoon. There I pulled out broadway versions of both Les Mes and Phantom. Wow! Let me tell you what, that hot redhead got a whole lot hotter!

Ever since we try and surprise each other with trips to the theater as gifts. It's the best gift EVER! Especially when we make a point to get AWESOME seats. Why settle for medicore seats when you can spend a little more and have the best? Besides, those type of presents make the best gifts anyway. Memories and experiences and magical dates.

I love my hubby.

  1. AWWW! How great is that!!! Your husband is awfully sweet! I love the bow tie. I saw Wicked with my husband and 14 yr. old daughter last year about this time on Broadway! Can you say "Blown Away?" Fan-blooming-tastic! That's what it was! My daughter already had all the music memorized and I knew it pretty well before we went, but we hadn't read the book so it was all still a surprise. It was such a treat. Don't you just LOVE Elphaba?

  3. Awesome! Wicked is a favorite for two of my sisters-in-law, and a group of us plans to go sometime in the future. The music is stellar!

    Hubby gets bonus points. ;)

  4. Jenni, good for you. And, what an amazing husband you've got (don't men look great when they're dressed up!). I'll be following in your illustrious footsteps next month. After the Backspace Writer's Conference, me and my honey will be seeing (are you sitting down?) WICKED on Broadway!!!!! Yay!!!!!

  13. Yes I agree your husband is adorable, and it is so nice to have something you can love and enjoy together (that isn't one of your children). I have heard a lot of great things about Wicked lately. Lucky you.
