We will NOT panic...

We will not panic...
We will not panic...
We will not panic...

So remember how I've been saying all along that I'm having a baby due the EXACT same day as my book is? Both due June 1st. And how my babies always come late and there was no way the two dates would conflict..?

Well, that was great and all...until today. This morning around 9:20 to be precise. Thanks to a new ultrasound... me and baby have a new date. May 17th.

Ahem. Yep, you read right... that's MAY 17TH!!!!

I wasn't expecting this little miss until at least June 7th (no really, my kids are ALWAYS late!) Now, I have to stop and take in a whole lot here. She's already estimated at weighing in around 6pds 4oz, in my tummy. And you could see this amazing ammount of 1 inch curls all around her head in a halo! (No this was not 3-D ultasound... just the normal one.) And I wish I knew the hair color! LOL!

So with just under four weeks left... I uh, think I need to get moving and possibly start getting the nursery sorted! LOL! Now if only I hadn't given away my baby girl clothes before I left England...

But there is good news here... now, instead of seeing a big round belly for my book launch party, for those of you who come--you'll get to see a wee lil' baby instead!

  7. HAHAHAHAHA! The Lord certainly likes to keep us on our toes doesn't He? But I'm sure everything will turn out just fine. Whenever life gives you lemons you don't settle for lemonade, you make lemon merengue pie!! BTW, I still use your recipe for pie crust, it's the best!!

  8. Wow! That's kind of crazy, but yea! I'm sure this will work out better! Do you have any sort of idea when your book signings will be? I would LOVE to catch one but I won't be in Utah until the end of June.

    Good luck with everything!

  10. You are SO lucky. At least you won't be pregnant all during the summer like myself who isn't due until the end of October. I am very...very jealous. But congratulations on BOTH ends!

  11. Great news!!! My 4 were all late too. I would have been ecstatic if one would have been early. What a wild ride you are on! I am looking forward to getting my signed book! I can't wait to read it. Make sure you let me know somehow when you will be in Chicago. Faith and I will come! Looking forward to hearing about the baby! Take care of yourself!
