So I'm a princess. I admit it. I always have been. I actually never wore jeans until I was 12. I wouldn't. I used to run around in my dresses and a pair of shorts underneath. I played all sorts of sports and climbed trees, road my bike... everything.
But I was always a princess first. Years later.. and I'm still in this mind set. I can't shake it! I can't even begin to tell you how many people have teasingly commented that I was just like Giselle from the Disney movie Enchanted. Eeeh! Except i take that as a MAJOR compliment! LOL! I know some people might not, but I am a princess, so of course I do.
Well, as a princess, I have to do princess things right? I mean, it's only natural. So I feel it's my duty to host an annual ball every year.I used to sit around and wait and dream for my ball invite. Then about three years ago, I decided I was tired of waiting and dreaming of one day getting to go to the ball with my prince, i wanted to do something about it. So I started having my own balls!
So there you have it. I've been slaving away this past month preparing for my Enchanted Yuletide Ball... 200 invitations, decor, food prep and planning, dress, tiaras... LOL! Yes, I'm a crazy princess, remember?
Last year we had over 200 people show up to this black tie affaire! Wahoo! This year we're expecting more! This is the couple who it was in honor of... they're starting off the ball with the first dance. Everyone else is behind them.
This is proof! Guys like balls too! Hehehe! My hubby is the totally hot redhead giving a thumbs up sign! Our next annual ball is Saturday! Eeeh! I can't wait!
So here are the Winter Ballgowns their Fairy Grandmother made them this year! They were inspired by her trip to Disneyland and visiting the Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) last New Years.
My mom is ultimately the coolest Fairy Grandmother in the world. She makes magical dresses (With her wand, of course) for every one of her Granddaughters! Can you believe it? To date she has eight granddaughter princesses! How she finds the time, I'll never know. Honestly.
When people say that I remind them of my mom, I'm always like, "I wish!" LOL! And I do! She's incredible! The amount of love and service that pours from that woman astounds everyone around her--especially, since this year has been physically trying for her. 
Well this started off as a blog to show my girls... but instead ended up being an ode to my mom. Which is soo much better! I LOVE YOU, Mom! Thanks for all you do! You're the best mom ever! Once I get them loaded.. I'll show you the SUPER Cute Christmas Eve Jammies (and slippers!) she made with her wand for ALL her grandkids! You're gonna die! They're THAT cute! hehehe! And oh, including the boys, there's a grand total of 16 so far! And she's still begging us to have more! hahahah!
