Winter Princesses!

So lately I've been thrown from my throne.. hehehe! Okay, so I'm really a Queen with Princess tendencies. Point is, I have royal children! Which is the coolest ever! And as everyone knows when you raise Princesses they must have a Fairy Grandmother somewhere, right? So here are the Winter Ballgowns their Fairy Grandmother made them this year! They were inspired by her trip to Disneyland and visiting the Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) last New Years.
My mom is ultimately the coolest Fairy Grandmother in the world. She makes magical dresses (With her wand, of course) for every one of her Granddaughters! Can you believe it? To date she has eight granddaughter princesses! How she finds the time, I'll never know. Honestly.
When people say that I remind them of my mom, I'm always like, "I wish!" LOL! And I do! She's incredible! The amount of love and service that pours from that woman astounds everyone around her--especially, since this year has been physically trying for her.
Well this started off as a blog to show my girls... but instead ended up being an ode to my mom. Which is soo much better! I LOVE YOU, Mom! Thanks for all you do! You're the best mom ever! Once I get them loaded.. I'll show you the SUPER Cute Christmas Eve Jammies (and slippers!) she made with her wand for ALL her grandkids! You're gonna die! They're THAT cute! hehehe! And oh, including the boys, there's a grand total of 16 so far! And she's still begging us to have more! hahahah!

  3. I see your mom as the fairy princess in Sleeping Beauty, spinning away on her loom for her charges. Those little princesses are just as beautiful as their queen mum. :)

  5. Adorable. Your mom is awesome. My mom is a major sewer too. I love the fairy Grandmother comparison. My book series is about fairy tales (sort of) and I love all things fairy tale.

  8. Those dresses are a little girl's dream! You and you're girls are definitely blessed to have such a wonderful mom/grandma. My mom is a great seamstress, but she tends to stick to helping me with curtains and pillows etc. All of which is really appreciated. ;)

I just wanted to say that I just read your Pride and Popularity excerpt, and I LOVED IT!!! You're characters are great! I actually watched the short Version of P&P today because it was on my mind. Now I need to go read your other stuff! Oh and Happy New Year!

  10. WOW! GORGEOUS!!! Hopefully when I have a granddaughter she will keep me as her adopted daughter and make one for me! HEEHEE! .

You do have a WONDERFUL and CARING mother! I can always remember her treating me like her own kid and would do anything for me and my family! Your family was the only one to help my mom move when my dad died, your mom was a mentor for me, and treatedme like gold! I love your mom like my own!

ANyways, gorgeous dresses and your daughters are just ADORABLE!!! I can't wait to see the Christmas jammies!
