It's a SNOW DAY!

SNOW DAY!!!
Yesterday my hubby and the kiddos all got to stay home! Eeeh! It was so much fun! England hasn't seen this much snow for 18 years! LOL! We LOVE it! So much so, we had to make a ginormous snowman to celebrate (LOL! With a celery mouth, tomato nose and creepy moving apple eyes! LOL!)! This is our "Back garden" (not backyard... they don't say that here) we have a pretty big back garden as you can see... and we had so much snow, that AFTER the snowman was built, the kids were able to still make snow forts for a snowball fight! LOL!

I was pretty impressed with my girls fort! My oldest son even built an igloo for grandma to come and stay in when she visits. Yes, my kids are so thoughtful... even going to great lengths and thinking of others. Hahaha! It cracks me up just picturing my poor mom crouched down in some igloo in our back garden. LOL!
LOL! So we just figure this is all a practice run for when we live in Provo next year! LOL! Ooh! See Daddy's special snow boots he made them out of pastic grocery sacks? They worked too!
Okay, so you wanna know something cooler? Hehehe! It's STILL snowing. I know, gasp, right? LOL! Like it NEVER snows this many days in a row in England! Talk about super, super fun for us! And soo pretty!

  4. Loved loved loved the boots! Geaux Dad. I would say watch out for inappropriate anatomically correct snow people and wayward snowballs that knock out street lights...but I was thinking of MY kids, not your perfectly behaved beautiful Reds! hehe

  11. Those apple eys are creepy! LOL!
How fun for you guys. I love the snow in small doses. I remember walking through it falling in Provo on my way to class. The hill on the south side of BYU could be quite treacherous! But fortunately Provo's not too bad.

  12. That snowman is HUGE! What a fun day for you guys! My kids would love to get that kind of snow, but in NC it's highly unlikely. Enjoy it while you've got it.
